According to its geographical position, its form, and the internal configuration of its rooms, a house is thus in the heart of an energy flow that is its alone, and which can change with time as well as by changes made by the owners.

Very simple changes concerning the main rooms can be recommended by the Feng Shui consultant, for example, the orientation of a bed in a room :

A bed may be wrongly positioned if it does not allow you to see someone entering the room.

A bed may be wrongly positioned if it is exposed directly to the strong flow of energy between the door and the window.

A bed may be wrongly positioned if it is situated right in front of the door, receiving the full force of all the energy.

An acceptable position of a bed would allow you to see anyone entering the room and would be outside the direct flow of energy.

Attempting to find the optimum energy flow, the Feng Shui consultant will reduce as far as possible the Sha Qi in a room. He will then try to harmonize the energy flow in all parts of the house by making it easy for light to enter, by repositioning the furniture and by matQing colors.

A room which is encumbered with furniture or in which the bed is too close to the door hamperes the free flow of Qi.

The correct directions for the Gua of the Head of the Family must be compared with the main direction of the house. With the help of his Luo Pan, the consultant will calculate exactly the most favourable places for the different activities of the family.
